	The time has come to prepare our children for the future. We would appreciate your participation in creating a state-of-the-art career development program for all of Alaska's youth. Please provide your career profile information on the attached career profile survey. Background: The Career Pathway Development Project is a jointly funded program through the Department of Labor and the Department of Education. We are creating lessons on career awareness and exploration to be posted on a statewide web-site hosted by the Alaska Business Education Compact. The information you provide will be included in a web data base for all Alaskan students related to career awareness. The web page will be used as a resource for Alaskan students as they research various careers and career pathways that are available in Alaska. Instructions: Fill out the attached survey. If possible, please attach a photo(s) of yourself or someone in your profession at work. It will be used on the web page to assist students to better understand your career. Your comments may be revised for younger readers. A draft of the web page can be sent to you for approval before it is posted on the internet.
