Overview:


Students will "take a picture" of where they are in their present thinking and decision making. Using a website, they will assess their personal skills, values, character and interests. The website will match their assessment to occupational sectors. Students will review the sectors and identify pathways that match their assessment. Students will then compare their assessment to the attributes and skills needed for an occupation in the Engineering and Industrial Technology pathway.

Scroll to the Self-Assessment Quiz.

Complete the assessments by following the directions on these steps:

  Task 2

Use the chart "Comparing my Personal Pathway" to compare the skills needed for an occupation from the Engineering and Industrial Technology pathway. List the skills and interests for yourself from the results of the self-assessment in Task 1.
